Manny Mejia

BS, Movement Therapist

Manny graduated from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. During his time at CSUF, he was exposed to the many different career paths a Kinesiology major can pursue. Helping others move was a top priority, but his interest was sparked when he took a Sports Psychology class. In fact, Manny is currently applying to the Master’s of Kinesiology program, so that he can expand his knowledge and implement more skills to help his patients.

He began his Performance Health and Wellness journey as an intern. During his time interning, Manny witnessed the path patients take to improve their movement patterns and decrease dysfunction. As a result, patients began feeling better and most importantly, moving efficiently. Because of this exposure, Manny’s passion for helping others increased and he wanted to assist his own patients. Soon after, he officially joined the team and became a Movement Therapist.

Since working with Performance Health and Wellness, Manny has gained experience working with athletes of all levels, office workers, and service providers. He focuses on not only breaking down the barriers of the issues that need to be addressed, but in building a relationship with his patients.
